I hope this is the beginning of an experience that will be repeated for many years. As one of the students that participated in this years’ WWDS said

“ I believe that getting in contact with your field of interest, even if you are not yet prepared to act on it, helps to broaden your head, see the real stuff not just imagine it, view the elements in your future route and most important, stimulates you to follow it”.

This year we had only a few first year students, all the rest were on their first or second year of their MSc. All the translation work, photographs, ideas were theirs. The topics viewed were a bit biased, not only microbiology and related areas are studied in the Faculty of Chemistry!! But that was my fault.

Our logo was taken from a fresco painted by Faculty union students (AEQ) a few years ago during a strike in pursue of a higher budget for education.
